Topic: Motivating Movement – A practical perspective
Speaker: Nicole French and Matt Pollard
Nicole French is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a special interest in Diabetes, preventative health and health coaching. She is the founder and Director of Exercise for Rehabilitation & Health, Essendon Physio Group and the Melbourne Vestibular Clinic.
Nicole invests much of her time into the community as a presenter, writer, radio presenter and advisor for a number of health organisations and enjoys mentoring clinicians and developing resources to further the development of the Exercise Physiology profession
She is a former postgraduate lecturer, a current Director of the PCDSA, committee member of Parents Voice and ambassador for the Girls Uniform Agenda.
Matt Pollard is an experienced and passionate Accredited Exercise Physiologist who focuses on empowering people to live a healthy and active life.
He is an established practitioner and clinical team leader based in Melbourne with extensive experience in working with people of all ages and health conditions; he has a particular interest in movement dysfunction and health coaching. He is focussed on helping people articulate and achieve their goals.
He has a reputation as a leader in his field, which has seen him involved in advisory roles with his professional body (Exercise and Sports Science Australia) as well as in the tertiary sector.
